Can lupus cause either hives or a sensation of burning in the skin?

Hives and burning sensations within the skin are possible causes of Lupus.  Itching is possible due to irritation of nerve fibers in the skin. But If the irritation is intense then a burning sensation is felt.

Photosensitivity is someone who is sensitive to UV rays from the sunlight and other UV light sources.  The reactions of Photosensitivity include a rash, fever, fatigue, joint pain and other symptoms of SLE.  Sun exposure has been a result of the onset of kidney disease.
